Let’s bring back personal blogs

In attempt to move back into my writer phase, a girl had to go shopping.

What is it with that? Every time I move into some new phase or momentum, some sort of purchasing has to come with it.

This time it’s a keyboard mat for my laptop. This is the longest I’ve grown out my nails and apparently I can’t type properly anymore because of it. This is my first time using it.

I’m testing a few right now and deciding which I like better before I return the rest. When I choose, I’ll post the link so you get my best pick.

See, this is how I want to write to you. And when I decide I want to be deep and poetic, I will.

I wrote a thread the other day saying, “let’s bring back personal blogs” to which someone replied, “this is the new personal blog sorry hun 💅”.

No, this is the new Twitter.
Whatever X is now, is definitely not how Twitter was.

What I meant about personal blogs is discovering peoples lives not in short bits, but in heart-wrenching essays, poems, letters, and confessions on the internet. Corners of the internet that feel like you just stepped into a strangers home and they’re brewing you some tea.

That’s how a personal blog should feel.

And I think I’m going to try and create that–somehow.

I think my next post will be a new introduction;

after I go look through some supporting themes for this “home”.

We’ll be talking soon…

Natalia
