—-if only it had started a bit earlier.
And though I’m still coming down from a frantic wake up, I hear the birds and see the trees and realize it wasn’t that bad at all.
Again, I’m thinking of coffee. Or a matcha latte at least!
It’s a chilly Monday morning as I look at the time and think of my next work shift.
With all the time in the world, it seems I’m in a never ending cycle of finding things to do. Is this what life is?
My Haku’s here with me and I imagine My Love at work.
The days seem to blend in with each other and I count and wait for the next time I see him.
This weekend we celebrated Diwali.
And as if my whole past days had been washed away, I lit my diyas at night, and called for Ma.
Today is the first day of my new life—-and my alarm didn’t go off.
I imagine this one to pass like any other but still I anticipate it’s arrival.
I hope you find solace in this new year,
this new week,
this new day.
I do.
