The spiritual practice: it’s all so much

,

Ram Dass says, do it until you can’t take it anymore. Immerse yourself in all this stuff, until you’re sick of it.

How long have I done this for?

Is that what spiritual practice is? A dog chasing its own tail until it gets tired, then after resting a while, gets back up and does it all over again?

Well that’s what it feels like.

It’s funny because I was explaining the act of meditation in a similar way the other day;
you get silent, the thoughts roll in, release, repeat.

But I can hear Her calling.

And sometimes that’s more deafening than the silence.

My blood, my energy,
flowing seamlessly through the DNA of this life; getting pulled closer and closer to The Void.

Call it Truth. Call it illusion.

What I know is that I feel it. And sometimes it’s all so much.
