But at the end of the day,
we always do somehow.
Today, I caught up with a friend.
One I hadn’t seen or really talked to in over a year.
It’s funny how someone can be living almost the same experience as you but in a completely different way.
I think this has to do with the whole “God living vicariously through us all” idea.
It’s like every one of us are living the same experience:
We face obstacles, sometimes go to a dark place, get out of it, see the highs, see the lows, and everything in between.
But at the same time, in completely different ways.
My obstacle may not be the same as yours but that doesn’t mean it’s not as challenging.
It’s sort of like The Hero’s Journey.
I think I started noticing this when I began studying that topic with the Ramayana.
It’s kind of hard to un-see it now;
the unfolding of cycles throughout history, evolution, and life. Even throughout our day.
It’s not always easy catching up but when we do, it’s always worth it in the end.
