The Spring Equinox New Year: What are your intentions?

There’s a reason we feel anew around the time of springtime.

For many cultures, the new year begins at the time of the spring or vernal equinox.

Spring brings the blooming and budding of new crops, flowers, leaves, and intentions. And though most of us on the east and in many other places celebrated our new year on January 1st, it’s around this time of year we actually begin to feel as if a new phase is taking place.

On this day, before the first new moon of this equinox, I ask you, what are your intentions?

New moons and new beginnings are perfect times for us to sit with ourselves and regather our goals and intentions for ourselves and our lives.

It’s easy for us to forget the intentions we’ve set for ourselves back in January. It’s around this time that we lose sight of it the most. But lucky for us, as if the stars have aligned for this moment, a new year begins in the spring.

This is a reminder of the goals you had set for yourself. Or maybe a wake-up call to re-evaluate our goals and realign with our true values.

Here are a couple of journal prompts for you to reflect on during this time of renewal:

How are you celebrating this spring?
Take time out for yourself on these nights; sit with your Self, your True Self, and ask the questions you really want to know.
Are you being who you are truly meant to be? Are you being your most authentic self? Are you moving closer to becoming your most ideal version?
