Swirling around you like leaves in a hurricane,
whispers of ancient times flirt with the ears.
Do you know of the Gods? they giggle.
And with open arms you look to the sky at night, trying not to flinch at the sight of the moon.
I know nothing, you think to yourself.
I am everything, screams the spirit.
Who is it that the wolf howls to during these times?
Feelings of longing dwell within the forest as it searches for a lost love.
Who is it that you long for? asks the wanderer in the night.
Do you search for the same Love I seek?
Or do you howl in knowing yourself, everlasting and true?
And instead of words and looks to be exchanged, they sit and stare at the moon together in unison, being as One.
