It gets grey in these mountains,

to think I would ever complain about them is nonsense;

at least that’s what I tell myself while reading back to old Grey L.A. posts.

Last night, I watched one of my favorite animes, Mushi-shi. It’s a very beautiful anime, I highly suggest it.

It put me in this sort of appreciative mood of the grey. Reminding me, I am in the mountains; something I always crave to be in.

I think back to when I was younger, craving the ocean.

The salt, the waves, the calling.

I feel as if I hear that call everywhere now; beyond the crashing of the sea; within the mist of the mountains.

It’s Monday and I don’t mind.

I imagine the art I’ll create today along with this week. I will get stuff done.

Including, the therapeutic yoga course I’m in.

I hope you have a very productive week as well. And if you don’t, that’s ok too. I wish you a restful week then.

Did you have that self-care day we spoke of last week? I did.

I’ll be sharing the piece I made this week so be sure to keep a look out.

Until then, enjoy this day. Whatever you may be doing.

Let’s talk later.
