It’s getting late and the tea’s boiling

I listened to some really good music today.

I’ve been packing for this move and this morning was just so great.

I’ll miss it here.

Even though it didn’t last long, it was nice. No matter how many people were against it.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely excited for my new place;

But there was just something about this one…

I wondered today if I’ll get the silence like I do here; maybe even more.

The droning sound of cars on the freeway turned into the same song the birds sing in the morning.

I wonder what I’ll hear in the near future.

I’m grateful for this experience. It makes me look even more forward to when I build my house.

The quiet,

the songs.

For those of you who have been reading for a while, I wonder if you enjoy these small travels with me…

It’s funny to think this is never how I intended it to be. But so it is.

The more time that goes by, the less things I try to take with me.

Soon there will be nothing…hopefully.

It’s getting late and the tea’s boiling.

And there’s a song stuck in my head. A good song.
