I had a date with God on Saturday,

along with my friends as well.

I ran as fast as I could into the arms of my Love,

being over washed by waves of salty water and pink clouded skies.

I stood there looking out towards the distance and watched the ripples of sand create patterns of Love.

I love you, I wrote in the sand and laughed as I watched my words be absorbed into His heart.

I screamed! Oh yes, I screamed and shouted and sang my heart out—jumped! Into the sky hoping He’d catch me as I fell back by Her power.

I missed the times like this but I knew they wouldn’t last forever.

I thought about who I’d been talking to recently about our relationship but the only one I could think of was You.

We both knew this would be our last time like this but also the beginning of something new.

I feel closer to the Divine more than ever that the only place I need to be is within, here, and now.

Ram Dass said,

Everywhere you look, you see what you’re looking for.

When you’re looking for God, all you see is God.

Ram Dass

I went on a date with the Universe on Saturday and I could’ve cried the second we met. But I didn’t.

There were no I miss you‘s or where have you been‘s.

We just spoke louder than usual to eachother and agreed we’re always together even without days such as these.

She followed me home and we never parted, before or after.

There’s nothing to do now but enjoy the moment. That’s all there is and ever was.

He was always here, as was I.

As we always will be.

And if you look a little deeper within,

you’ll find yourself on a date with Love as well.
