It’s been a while since I’ve been on the road;

So my friends and I decided to pack up a days worth of food and head up north.

We’ll be stopping at Sequoia, a trip I made a few months back, before hitting our destination of over 140 square feet of art installed lights.

After sharing many moments as such with these beautiful people I’ve come in contact with, I can’t help but to think to myself,

so this is what it’s like to have friends?

This may be a bit of an overstatement since I have shared amazing times and memories with people I’ve met throughout the years but with the way I live, nothing ever stays.

As sad as it may sound, I’m learning to accept impermanence leading me to no disappointments in the future.

Yet I still cry over dying birds and try to save the bugs I can’t seem to stand.

There is only one thing though,

that I wish would stay forever.

And though I know in this world,

with the way I live;

I just hope maybe,

just maybe,

we can build our own world

and share a life.

And as we do in this very moment,

I scream

and shout

and dance on the hilltops

Celebrating this beautiful life I’ve been blessed to live.

Thank you

Thank you

Thank you
