It hasn’t even been 2 hours yet

And I miss you already.

As sleep falls on my eyes at the mid of evening, I’m wishing this nap was with you.

In a few more days we’ll be speaking to each other in different time zones—-

if we weren’t already.

A couple more weeks, and I’ll be tripping over cases just to catch a flight into your arms.

And I just,

My eyes check the clock, count the days, count the days, oh my heart is somewhere lost in the sunlight of you’re presence.

I despise my weak mind after a blunt or two has passed and I see you as a different face. But it’s mine, yes it’s mine, oh I despise my weak mind;

I hold you close because I know—-

what’s true; unclouded.

Walking on pins and needles through my familys home yet they say to call it my own but I’m walking—not breaking—through creaky halls just to get to my room and lay here in the dark waiting for your call.

I’m in my bed, watching Naruto on my laptop, in the silence of machines.

I bet you I’ll finish the show before I see you again, my love.
